HUNNIC TRIBES, Western Turks. Sri Sahi, circa 650-700. Hemidrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 2.38 g, 9 h), uncertain mint, possibly in Zabulistan. Draped bust to right, wearing crown surmounted by blossom and necklace with two ribbons attached; in upper field to left, small Alchon tamgha; to right, ŠRI SHAHI ('His Perfection, King' in Brahmi). Rev. Stylized Sasanian style altar flanked by two attendants. Göbl 257. Vondrovec, Type 257. Rare. Minor deposits, otherwise, very fine.
